How To Rank High On Google
by Author on Jun.15, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
So you’re looking to start an online business and drive lots of traffic to your site? Well if you choose to receive thousands a week like my team and I have with the Global Gifting System, then there are a lot of tips I can give you to help boost your success.
But first, let me express how very important it is to master SEO to get the best results for your business, before you attempt any marketing. So lets start from the beginning and I’ll explain what SEO is.
SEO stands for:
Search
Engine
Optimization
Basically what this means, is that to succeed in cash gifting you first should ask “What do I need to do to get my website to rank as close as possible to the first position on Google, Yahoo, Msn, etc..”
We’ll use Google for this case.
All Cash gifting websites want their site to be on the top of Google when someone is searching for the global gifting system or whatever cash gifting program your in. The search engines pick up on several factors about your site to determine where you will be placed. So lets start with Keywords.
When you go to google.com there is a box on the page that allows you to type in what your searching for, press “google search” and your on your way. The text you type into that box is what is called “keywords”. So you first should determine which words are used to search for your site. There are several keywords someone could use to find cash gifting but the most popular is the obvious “cash gifting”. Of course there are also individual programs they could search for as well, with the “Global Gifting System” being the most popular. So if your in one of these particular programs it’s a good idea to use plenty of the program title as your keywords. Choose what is the main page your wanting people to find first on your site, then you can begin adding your keyword to that page. You can’t just type the same keywords over and over because the search engines will detect this as spam and ignore you. The ideal amount of keywords you should add are about 3% – 5% for your page. So if you have an entire page of quality content, make sure you have no more that 5% keywords. There’s a great software program called “IBP & Arelis”, if you get a chance purchase this program and use it to help you sort through you keywords and help you create top SEO results.
Back links are also very important. The more links you have linking back to you from other websites, the more Google thinks your popular and moves you up quicker. So to create tons of links try various things like:
*creating a lot of cash gifting videos and submit them to various video sharing sites.
*Create articles on the global gifting system, like I have done, with your link attached.
*Submit your link to search engines ( there are tons of them ).
The more ideas you can think of to add your link out there, the more it helps to build your success.
**Meta Tags**
Defined as: “A HTML tag that provides information about the web page. Meta tags may contain information about what the page is about”
These are similar to keywords and are instead added to the title of the search result that you will find when searching through Google. Depending on what program you use to create your website there are different ways to add the meta tags. I use Yahoo site builder and it is real easy to simply type in the search title I wish to appear, add a website description, then add keywords. If you are uncertain on how to add meta tags to your site, refer to your “help” section.
These are just a few ideas to help you achieve the top search engine results. My advice for those in cash gifting, and anyone starting a business, is that you work on mastering SEO and create the best optimized webpage you can and then move into marketing. This way you ensure to get the best results every time.

Getting You Site Indexed By The Search Engines
by Author on Jun.15, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Part I
This is the first article in a six part series on how you can get indexed in the most important search engines on the internet. These search engines include Google, Yahoo, MSN, Exactseek, and Alexa. These sites cover over 80 percent of the searches done on the internet, so it’s well worth the effort to prepare your site correctly, and submit it to these search engines.
Before you do any kind of promotion on the internet, you need to make sure that your site is properly prepared for the search engines. The reason is that the search engines will be the main way that others find you on the internet.
If you haven’t optimized your site for the search engines, now is the time to do it.
There are two tools that you can use, that are absolutely free, to optimize your website. Keep in mind that your main focus should be on optimizing individual pages for various keyword terms on your topic.
Good Keywords – http://www.goodkeywords.com – This tool will tell you what others are searching for, as well as how often the search terms are searched for in a month. Windows.
Web CEO – http://www.webceo.com – This software suite will not only help you optimize your pages for the search engines, but it will help you find link partners, as well as keyword terms, and you can use it to submit to other lesser known search engines. Windows and MAC.
It is beyond the scope of this article to teach you how to optimize your site for the search engines. Web CEO contains step by step documentation that will teach you everything you need to know about search engine optimization.
What’s important here is that you find out specifically what keywords and keyword phrases searchers are looking for when searching. If you optimize your site for the wrong keyword search terms, either no one will find you, or you will have so much competition, you won’t be able to get your site to rank very high.
Most searchers won’t go beyond the first three pages of results. Rank below this, and you’ll have a tough time being found.
Another important point to remember is that each of the main search engines is different. You can optimize your site for Google, which is the most important search engine right now, but you can optimize your site for indexing in all of the major search engines if you do it right.
Avoid techniques like keyword stuffing, redirect pages that are unrelated to your site, and junk pages. Multiple domains pointing to the same site or a mirror site are a definite no no.
Although there is some debate these days about using other writers’ articles because of the duplicate content rule, remember that all of the major search engines are full of duplicate content.
Using articles written by other authors is a great way to provide value to your site visitors, but you will want to write a few of your own articles. By writing your own articles, you can optimize them for your keyword terms, something you can’t do with other writers’ articles.
When you write your articles, convert them to HTML and then use Web CEO to optimize them for your keyword terms. Make sure you focus on no more than two to three terms per page, or you will have problems optimizing your page. You want your articles to make sense, and you want them to provide value to your readers.
Finally, once you’ve optimized your site, you’ll want to make sure that you submit them to the major search engines. Although there is some debate these days over whether or not this is necessary, the major search engines aren’t perfect, and they don’t always update properly.
Once you’ve submitted your sites, you can move on to the next steps in your internet marketing campaign. Resubmit only when you’ve made major changes to your sites.keyword elite for seo
Search engine optimization and submission is a long term marketing strategy. Good ranking, as well as good coverage of your site won’t happen overnight. It will happen though if you stick to good search engine optimization techniques to improve your site’s ranking.keyword elite review

Essential Steps For Scam-Free Internet Marketing Training
by Author on Jun.13, 2009, under Online Business
As the interest in internet marketing explodes, particularly with the downturn in the global economy and millions of people turn to the internet to seek ways to make extra income or develop a second income; a real need for authentic, up-to-the-minute internet marketing training has grown. However, as with any market as the demand has grown so too has the shoddy deals and Scam-Artists promising to teach how to “make a million in a month”.
Internet marketing training like most knowledge worth learning has a learning curve that will require moving from unconscious incompetence (where you are unaware of what you don’t know) through to conscious incompetence (where you are aware of what you don’t know and know that you are perhaps performing at sub-optimum levels) on to conscious competence (you are aware of what you know and perform with awareness) to finally arrive at unconscious competence (where you are in a power zone working on autopilot).
For those seeking internet marketing training to build a sound business proposition, part-time career or a vital second or third income, below are 10 areas of internet marketing that should take you out of your state of unconscious incompetence (which is where the SCAM artists want you) to a place where you are able to recognise your needs and differentiate the various on-line offerings of internet marketing training. All the research below can be conducted on-line and 9/10 points will cost you nothing but your time.
1. Learn the business model and the various types of elements that make up internet marketing including: affiliate marketing, e-products, e-mail marketing, distribution products, membership services, virtual real estate etc.
2. Learn about keyword research from Google, Yahoo and MSN.
3. LearnInvestigate the various types of websites including mini-websites and those powered by third parties such as WordPress, Blogger, Squidoo.
4. Take what you have learned about keyword research and use it to research niche markets and sub-niches. Investigate the places people are hanging out on-line and what they are talking about – this will form part of your market research tools.
5. Set up a PayPal account for separate business transactions (if you don’t already have one).
6. Google basic search engine optimisation, the latest SEO techniques from specialist websites such as SEOMoz.org and learn how traffic is driven to websites.
7. Investigate affiliate marketing facilitators such as Clickbank, LinkShare, SiteSell etc. and get an overview of what they do and within what territories.
8. Investigate various auto-responder services such as I-contact or Constant Contact, together with various articles submission sites, social networking sites and bookmarking sites.
9. Develop a strategy of how you will work to set up your business, including time-frames, budget, working practices etc.
10. Sign up to a program where you can learn as you earn. The Wealthy Affiliate University is a well respected membership site launched by the “Mr Nice Guys of Internet Marketing” – Kyle & Carson that teaches internet marketing and affiliate marketing with 1-2-1 support and coaching.
Establishing an On-line business is similar to off-line business in that it will take time, dedication and the consideration of many issues including competition, market trends, profit ratios etc. Unlike other more established professions, however, learning internet marketing is a minefield where one has to overcome countless Scam-Artists promising to teach you how to make a million overnight. With tales of people losing $100’s or even $1,000’s of dollars to such scams it is essential to approach internet marketing training as you would other business training i.e. look for the best providers with proven track records and testimonials of satisfied alumni.

A Guide To Organic SEO And Its Benefits
by Author on Jun.12, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
What Is Organic SEO?
Put in the simplest manner possible, organic SEO is search engine optimization done manually using no black hat methods, no underhand methods and no automated scripting. It is the purest form of optimizing your website for the benefit of search engines, while still retaining interest for your site visitors, and done well it is exactly the thing that search engines are looking for in a website. Once they find it they will reward your site with better rankings and improved positions within the search engine results pages. Throughout the course of this article it will be referred to as simply SEO.
Understanding The Search Engines
Understanding Search Engines and their general concept is vital to the use of effective SEO methods. Search engines enable their visitors to enter a specific word or term, known as keywords. Once submitted, all pages containing those keywords that can be found in the search engine’s directory are listed on the search engine result pages. Each page is “ranked” according to relevancy, popularity and a few other factors. Therefore, in theory, the more relevant a page is to a given keyword the more likely it will appear at the top of the listings.
Introducing The Search Engine Spiders
Another important factor to remember about search engines is that they don’t use real people to crawl the billions of websites and judge how relevant they are. Instead they use automated software called a “spider” or a “bot” that does this work much quicker. The calculations that the search engine uses to determine the ranking of a website are called algorithms and in the case of the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN these algorithms are changed on a regular basis. The changes and the specifics of the algorithms are not released to the public in order to prevent black hat SEOs from manipulating their sites to reach the top of the pile despite containing to information relevant to the search query or keyword.
Optimizing For Search Engines – Optimizing For Visitors
Of course to some extent, all of us reading this article are probably guilty of altering our web pages to meet the whims of search engines but it must be done in a positive and organic way. We understand that optimizing a page purely for the benefit of search engines spiders may massively detract from the actual value of the site to your visitors. Search engines understand this too, hence the evolution of the algorithms. With each new algorithm created and usually patented by search engines like Google, we are getting closer to a structure whereby sites are genuinely judged on their value to visitors. It may sound like an Isaac Asimov novel but the algorithms and the spiders are basically becoming more human like.
Basic Components Of SEO
The actual methods of optimizing your website are saved for another article, but the basic components of an SEO campaign are broken down into on page and off page optimization techniques. On page SEO includes factors like keyword inclusion, content optimization, page structure etc… whereas the main contributing factor of off page optimization is inbound links. There are many different factors to each of these areas and different SEOs will give you varying information on which factors are the most relevant to gain higher rankings. These extensive differences in opinion occur because nobody is certain of the algorithm criteria.
The Benefits Of SEO
SEO is probably the most beneficial way to conduct Internet promotion. It is highly cost effective, can yield long term results and the leads it generates are opt in and targeted. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t consider trying out alternative methods of advertising your site. For many, banner advertisements, press releases (can actually be used as part of an SEO campaign as well), PPC campaigns and sponsored listings prove to highly beneficial and including these will help your site’s popularity.
To Cost Effectiveness And To Life
The cost effectiveness is easily determined when you look at the potential of an SEO campaign compared to the method that many consider to be the next best thing – PPC. A PPC campaign will usually cost you anywhere upward of 5 cents per visitor generated. This means that for every thousand visitors you receive you will have paid $50. Some fairly basic SEO work on a web site containing ten pages will generate this kind of traffic on a monthly basis relatively quickly.
$50 doesn’t sound much but consider that you pay this in one month to receive the desired one thousand visitors. Over the space of a year you will have paid $600, and so on. Now consider that you are competing for a relatively competitive keyword and you find that you need to be paying a minimum of 50 cents per click to generate just the one thousand clicks in a month. All of a sudden you’re paying $6000 per year and you are still only getting one thousand clicks every month. $6000 will buy you an awful lot of SEO work and you should find that within a few months you are generating a lot more traffic using SEO.
Targeted Leads
Targeted leads are the best type of leads you can generate. It means that the visitors to your site are already predisposed to the basic topic of your site and are interested in what you have to say. It means that they will be more likely to purchase goods or services from your site, click on affiliate links or click Google ads to earn you revenue. Because SEO leads are physically searching for the topic that your site relates to you are guaranteed that they are interested in whatever you’re offering. First of all they search using keywords relevant to your site. They then read the description and name of your site and this further compounds their interest in the page in question and click on the link. Already they have become highly susceptible to the message of your web page.
So Remember…
SEO is a webmaster’s greatest tool but treated badly it can quickly blow up in your face. By ensuring you stick to the very letter of the law and do not use any underhand methods you should soon benefit from powerful leads that will frequent your site and earn you revenue.
