How To Submit Your Blog To The Top Search Engines
by Author on Jun.19, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Although submitting your blog to the search engines is very similar to submitting your website, there are several differences that you should be aware of. Knowing these differences can help you get your blog indexed more quickly because you have submitted your blog correctly.
Regardless of whether you are submitting a blog or a website, if you are submitting to Google, you should create a sitemap. Although you should check your sitemap periodically to make sure Google isn’t encountering any errors with your sitemap, once you submit it, you don’t have to submit to Google again. All you have to do is keep your sitemap up to date.
If you use a blog like Wordpress, you can install the sitemap plugin. This plugin updates your sitemap automatically and notifies Google that your site has changed.
If you don’t use a blogging software that generates sitemaps, you can create your own. Google offers plenty of free tools for creating sitemaps.
Even if you don’t have a sitemap, you can still add your site to Google. You just won’t get detailed statistics.
You can submit to Google here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login
Since Google doesn’t allow direct submission to its blog search, you will need to make sure that you submit your site to blog directories Google pulls results from for its blog search, and then make sure you ping these sites when you update your blog.
You can use sites like Feed Shot, http://www.feedshot.com, to submit your site to some of the major blog directories. Then you only need to ping your blog to update it at these directories.
When submitting to Yahoo, you need to submit your site feed instead of a sitemap. You can submit your blog to Yahoo here: http://submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request. Instead of submitting your site, you will use the first block and submit your feed.
You should also add your blog feed to your My Yahoo page. This can get your blog added faster and will get your blog included in Yahoo’s version of blog search.
You will need an account to submit to both Yahoo and Google. It’s free.
MSN, the third of the big three search engines is completely different in the way that you need to submit to get your blog included.
You can submit directly to MSN to be included. You don’t need an account, but you will need to submit manually because you will need to enter the characters on the page to make sure your submission request goes through.
You can submit here: http://beta.search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx
MSN also offers an alternative that will help you get your entire blog included in its site results. Submit your blog to Moreover, http://www.moreover.com. If your site is included in Moreover, it should be included in MSN as MSN draws a lot of results from this news site.
Once you’ve submitted your blog to the top three search engines, forget about it. Your next step should be to ping your blog each time that you post to it.
Before you ping your blog for the first time though, make sure that you glance through the list of blog directories. You want to make sure you have submitted your blog to each of the directories listed. Also, some of the ping sites listed may not relate to your blog. Make sure you uncheck these before you ping.

Ping your blog each time you update.
These techniques will help you get about 80 percent coverage in the search engines. Once you’ve taken this step in your promotion, move on. Write press releases and articles and submit them to press release and article directories. Build links.
Successfully promoting your blog or website depends on consistent promotion. Promote regularly, and you will see results.

How To Rank High On Google
by Author on Jun.15, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
So you’re looking to start an online business and drive lots of traffic to your site? Well if you choose to receive thousands a week like my team and I have with the Global Gifting System, then there are a lot of tips I can give you to help boost your success.
But first, let me express how very important it is to master SEO to get the best results for your business, before you attempt any marketing. So lets start from the beginning and I’ll explain what SEO is.
SEO stands for:
Search
Engine
Optimization
Basically what this means, is that to succeed in cash gifting you first should ask “What do I need to do to get my website to rank as close as possible to the first position on Google, Yahoo, Msn, etc..”
We’ll use Google for this case.
All Cash gifting websites want their site to be on the top of Google when someone is searching for the global gifting system or whatever cash gifting program your in. The search engines pick up on several factors about your site to determine where you will be placed. So lets start with Keywords.
When you go to google.com there is a box on the page that allows you to type in what your searching for, press “google search” and your on your way. The text you type into that box is what is called “keywords”. So you first should determine which words are used to search for your site. There are several keywords someone could use to find cash gifting but the most popular is the obvious “cash gifting”. Of course there are also individual programs they could search for as well, with the “Global Gifting System” being the most popular. So if your in one of these particular programs it’s a good idea to use plenty of the program title as your keywords. Choose what is the main page your wanting people to find first on your site, then you can begin adding your keyword to that page. You can’t just type the same keywords over and over because the search engines will detect this as spam and ignore you. The ideal amount of keywords you should add are about 3% – 5% for your page. So if you have an entire page of quality content, make sure you have no more that 5% keywords. There’s a great software program called “IBP & Arelis”, if you get a chance purchase this program and use it to help you sort through you keywords and help you create top SEO results.
Back links are also very important. The more links you have linking back to you from other websites, the more Google thinks your popular and moves you up quicker. So to create tons of links try various things like:
*creating a lot of cash gifting videos and submit them to various video sharing sites.
*Create articles on the global gifting system, like I have done, with your link attached.
*Submit your link to search engines ( there are tons of them ).
The more ideas you can think of to add your link out there, the more it helps to build your success.
**Meta Tags**
Defined as: “A HTML tag that provides information about the web page. Meta tags may contain information about what the page is about”
These are similar to keywords and are instead added to the title of the search result that you will find when searching through Google. Depending on what program you use to create your website there are different ways to add the meta tags. I use Yahoo site builder and it is real easy to simply type in the search title I wish to appear, add a website description, then add keywords. If you are uncertain on how to add meta tags to your site, refer to your “help” section.
These are just a few ideas to help you achieve the top search engine results. My advice for those in cash gifting, and anyone starting a business, is that you work on mastering SEO and create the best optimized webpage you can and then move into marketing. This way you ensure to get the best results every time.
I’m helping my students receive $3k-$5k a week with my techniques, and I’m giving away a completely free copy of my 10 Day Success & Marketing video Course, just for stopping by my website. Getting You Site Indexed By The Search Engines
by Author on Jun.15, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Part I
This is the first article in a six part series on how you can get indexed in the most important search engines on the internet. These search engines include Google, Yahoo, MSN, Exactseek, and Alexa. These sites cover over 80 percent of the searches done on the internet, so it’s well worth the effort to prepare your site correctly, and submit it to these search engines.
Before you do any kind of promotion on the internet, you need to make sure that your site is properly prepared for the search engines. The reason is that the search engines will be the main way that others find you on the internet.
If you haven’t optimized your site for the search engines, now is the time to do it.
There are two tools that you can use, that are absolutely free, to optimize your website. Keep in mind that your main focus should be on optimizing individual pages for various keyword terms on your topic.
Good Keywords – http://www.goodkeywords.com – This tool will tell you what others are searching for, as well as how often the search terms are searched for in a month. Windows.
Web CEO – http://www.webceo.com – This software suite will not only help you optimize your pages for the search engines, but it will help you find link partners, as well as keyword terms, and you can use it to submit to other lesser known search engines. Windows and MAC.
It is beyond the scope of this article to teach you how to optimize your site for the search engines. Web CEO contains step by step documentation that will teach you everything you need to know about search engine optimization.
What’s important here is that you find out specifically what keywords and keyword phrases searchers are looking for when searching. If you optimize your site for the wrong keyword search terms, either no one will find you, or you will have so much competition, you won’t be able to get your site to rank very high.
Most searchers won’t go beyond the first three pages of results. Rank below this, and you’ll have a tough time being found.
Another important point to remember is that each of the main search engines is different. You can optimize your site for Google, which is the most important search engine right now, but you can optimize your site for indexing in all of the major search engines if you do it right.
Avoid techniques like keyword stuffing, redirect pages that are unrelated to your site, and junk pages. Multiple domains pointing to the same site or a mirror site are a definite no no.
Although there is some debate these days about using other writers’ articles because of the duplicate content rule, remember that all of the major search engines are full of duplicate content.
Using articles written by other authors is a great way to provide value to your site visitors, but you will want to write a few of your own articles. By writing your own articles, you can optimize them for your keyword terms, something you can’t do with other writers’ articles.
When you write your articles, convert them to HTML and then use Web CEO to optimize them for your keyword terms. Make sure you focus on no more than two to three terms per page, or you will have problems optimizing your page. You want your articles to make sense, and you want them to provide value to your readers.
Finally, once you’ve optimized your site, you’ll want to make sure that you submit them to the major search engines. Although there is some debate these days over whether or not this is necessary, the major search engines aren’t perfect, and they don’t always update properly.
Once you’ve submitted your sites, you can move on to the next steps in your internet marketing campaign. Resubmit only when you’ve made major changes to your sites.keyword elite for seo
Search engine optimization and submission is a long term marketing strategy. Good ranking, as well as good coverage of your site won’t happen overnight. It will happen though if you stick to good search engine optimization techniques to improve your site’s ranking.keyword elite review

How To SEO A Website
by Author on Jun.13, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Truly one of the most argued aspect of online promotion and one if mastered will grant you the ability to make money online and a lot of it. To begin SEO stands for search engine optimization. To optimize a website for search engines a couple of tasks need to be completed, but before that one rule must always be maintained which is never sacrifice readership for optimization. What this means is never make you visitors suffer just because you would like to rank well within the SERPs. Now another thing before we discuss search engine optimization is you must keep a balance, do not go overboard making your optimization techniques so blatant that a blind search bot will be able to tell that you are trying to rank well for a certain term.
Now the first steps of optimization begin at the first line of code placed on your website. META tags should be placed on each page and differ from page to page. One important step of optimization that new webmasters sometimes forget is every page they create should be optimized as a suitable landing page meaning that every page (with exception of login and other pages that have no useful content) should be built and have the time that matches your home page. Now as you optimize your website make sure that the description and title do have the keyword or phrase that you would like to rank well for and look very pleasing to potential visitors that are searching with Google and other major search engines. Remember your title tag and description is what the search engines will display to people searching online so if you stuff it with keywords even if you rank well for the term most people will skim over it. Attempt to make it pop, think to yourself what title and description would you most be likely to click on. Though some webmasters disagree it is also good to place Meta keywords in your site; Google does not use them, but yahoo still places some degree of importance on the keywords.
Now once you have your metas it is time to work on your websites content. I cannot stress enough it is extremely important to not sacrifice the readability of your website when placing keywords throughout your website. The headings are what search bots will look at when trying to find the main theme so take time and try to implement you main keyword or key phrase when placing your headings. It is also a good idea to use the keyword or phrase within the first couple sentences. Personally I recommend a density of a two keyword phrase that you would like to rank well for in Google to have a density of 5%. If you would like to get a keyword density checker do a Google search for “keyword density checker” and the first site will work fine, in fact the first 5 or 6 are all very useful density checkers. So after you have your content with a prevalence of keywords that you would like to rank well for you should work on your link building making sure to anchor the keywords within your hyper links both on site and off site.
Link building in a nut shell is any and all off site online promotion that you do. You can gain links from an array of resources such as article directories, free URL directories, social bookmarking, blogging, blog commenting, forum posting, and press releases just to name a few. When placing a link on a site besides your own make sure to place the keywords in the text of the anchor tags. For example a hyperlink that you place off your site should look like a href=”www.yoursite.com”>your keywords I have found it very useful to rotate 6-7 keywords and phrases that you would like to rank well for rather than just the same one over and over. You should also be doing this on site. If you are still using the home button in your navigation bar then get rid of it and replace it with the keyword phrase you would like to rank well for, it is also good to place a keyword phrase on the bottom of each page that points back to your home page.
Anyways this is just the start that is the long process of climbing the Google SERPs (search engine ranking pages). Remember join a couple webmaster forums to stay on top of any new ideas and/or changes. Well you know the basics so get out there and begin to make money.

Effective SEO Tools For Site Owners
by Author on Jun.12, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
First of all, I want to insist that this article is aimed at site owners since occasionally site owners and webmasters are not the same.
Suppose a realtor owns a real estate website. But, she is just a newbie on the Internet and she depends on the webmaster (e.g.from hosting provider) in her website’s SEO campaign. In fact, that webmaster couldn’t understand real estate industry deeply like her and he has many other sites to manage. So the SEO campaign wouldn’t get the expected result. In most cases, the site owners will play an important part in the achievement of SEO campaign. However, HTML language, search engines, link popularity, PageRank seem so unfamiliar with them at first. Therefore, the goal of this article is providing the novice site owners with some basic but efficient tools and knowledge in Search Engine Optimisation. This will assist site owners in cooperating better with webmasters or SEO agencies to increase their web sites’ ranking in Search Engines.1. Search Engines -You are a site owner and you yourself should get familiar with search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN Search to search for your competitors’ sites to see how they are positioning themselves in the marketplace, analyze the keywords, check your sites’ link popularity (the number of links to your website from other sites) and link saturation (number of pages on your sites have been indexed by search engine). These search engine syntaxes aren’t theoretical as you’ve thought and you don’t need to pay attention to the complex algorithms behind them. For instance, to check whether your sites are indexed, just type site:your_site_domain in search engines. Remember that your_site_url and your_site_domain are not identical. Site domain does not contain http:// while site URL must have (ex:http://your_site_domain/your_page.htm is a URL of your website).Assume the SEO firm, in their optimisation report, would ask the site owners to exchange links with other relevant websites to improve the link popularity. The problem is: where can I find the other sites? Don’t be concerned, search engines can help you. Site owners can learn from their competitors about which websites they’ve exchanged links with by checking their link popularity. In short, if you want search engines to help bring in business, you should become friendly with them first. Search engines are always beneficial friends (despite the fact that they are not easy to control!).2. HTML basic syntax and HTML editor - Site owners are not obligated to master HTML language to re-design their pages. That is not their task. But basic syntaxes are always needed.
For example, they should know to locate where the block in an html page is to add new auto-generated Meta-tags. I’ve mentioned auto-generated Meta-tags because site owners don’t need to code the Meta-tags either. With “Meta-tags Generator” keyword, they can find that on search engines thousands of websites are welcoming them to use their tool. Besides, the html link syntax is also worthwhile to remember: Look at this simple code your descriptive text which you send to other site owners for link exchange. Your website has many pages for exchanging links so it is important to know this link code to change your_site_url_1 to other pages and your descriptive text respectively. In addition, with the knowledge of html syntax, you can open your web pages and insert the links at your own and stop calling webmasters regularly for editing pages with links. Nowadays, html editors such as FrontPage, DreamWeaver can highly simplify this task in the similar way as you are working with MS Word. Just choose the position in Design view (in FrontPage) and paste the link code in the Code view at the cursor. 3. Google toolbar – Google Toolbar is a valuable tool for web surfers and even more useful to site owners to check PageRank. PageRank is a Google’s grade (from 0 to 10) to analyze the quality and quantity of links that point to a page. With high pageranks, they don’t ensure a high position in Google’s search results but they can tell us many things. PageRank inspires site owners in the long routine of SEO. The little green color on this bar resembles fruits in the tree of our efforts and we are motivated to dig more in SEO. On top of that, PageRank helps site owners to find appropriate sites to exchange links with. Seek for the sites with the same level (pagerank) to foresee the success of your link exchange requests. To install Google toolbar to your browsers (Internet Explorer or Firefox), just start by typing Google toolbar in search engines and follow the first result. In this article, I have provided the site owners with some basic but efficient tools to come along their SEO campaigns. They include, but not limit to, search engines, HTML editor and Google toolbar. In addition, there exists others such as FTP tool, Google sitemap, Link Directory software, etc… The important thing to novice site owners is leaving behind your main profession and get your hands wet with these tools. Webmaster and SEO firm can’t do everything for you. Learning SEO tools today will never be too late and squandered.
